✏️ Crafter of delightful solutions.
I enjoy crafting design solutions that spark delight and reinforce value in the lives of users and in the people around me.
👩🏻🏫 Former educator turned UXer.
Before UX/UI design, I was a secondary-level teacher. I wore many hats when I was an educator. Leader, facilitator, listening ear... The practice of rotating these roles truly deepened my empathy and desire to understand humans, their needs and delights.
💻 A life-long learner!
After teaching, I pivoted into the tech industry. I always wanted to learn about web development and the inner workings of beautiful websites. I was fortunate to start interning as a junior front-end developer, coding in HTML, CSS, and Javascript.
It was the first time my eyes were opened to the grander possibilities of product development! I heard of UX/UI design and decided to enroll myself in an immersive design course. Since then, I haven't looked back. I have found that UX design is an intersecting realm where I can bring both my empathic and creative skills in fostering functional and human-centered solutions.
🎨 Arts and crafts nerd.
When I’m not designing, I’m probably making stuff at home in my craft room. I love exploring my creativity and building an energetic brand as a self-taught textile artist. I work mainly with thread, fibers, and needlepunch embroidery. Just this past January, I opened my online small art business.
